Cupcakes!

My cupcake tower! Chocolate peanut butter and chocolate buttercream!

These are my Oscar Party Popcorn cupcakes! The popcorn is made with split marshmallows and yellow food coloring. I used white cake and buttercream icing.

This cake was for my nephew Gavin's dedication. We had a picnic with two other families whose babies Libby and Lucy had been dedicated that day. I used fondant for the picnic blanket my first time! The grass was a leaf tip and I did the entire cake in less than three hours very face for baking time and first time fondant use. It was as requested chocolate cake with oreos mixed in with oreo buttercream filling and buttercream icing.

My final cake for Wilton Course two THE BASKET WEAVE. I enjoyed it a lot more than I thought. The pattern was more like a challenge to finish by the end of class. I made the flowers out of royal icing. The cake was ridiculous Chocolate cake with Reese's Pieces peanut butter filling and peanut butter icing with chocolate icing basket weave.

The Dave Matthews Cake. Oreo mixed in with chocolate cake with oreo buttercream filling and buttercream icing. It was demolished!

This was the Strawberry Cake had a rough start. Strawberry cake with Strawberry filling and buttercream icing. I finished this cake during my Wilton class with roses and it proceeded to tip over in the car. So I scrapped off all the icing and redecorated it. I like the second one better though!

This was Heather's Birthday cake. It was Marble cake with chocolate pudding filling and chocolate icing.

Here is my first cake! I made it for Katie's belated birthday present. The cake was white with lime juice mixed in, lemon filling, and Key Lime icing.
